Ask for a concrete lifting estimate
Calling is fastest. If you'd rather write, fill in the form and a local concrete lifting contractor will call you back.
Before you call
It helps to have:
- Your street address or nearest cross streets, so the request reaches a contractor who works there
- Which slab moved: driveway, garage floor, walk, patio, steps or stoop
- About how far it has dropped, and whether it's cracked all the way through
- Whether the city has pink-painted the public sidewalk in front of your house
- A photo or two with a tape measure or straightedge in the shot
Measure the drop. Lay a straight board across the joint and measure the gap under it. That number, plus a photo, tells a contractor a lot before they visit.
